Wow, I mean… How do I even begin to write the recap for my all-time favorite bookish event? Tell me, because I seriously need to know. For almost 4 years now, I’ve been dreaming of meeting Adam Silvera and Becky Albertalli, and just last Sunday, this dream of mine came true all because of the efforts of National Bookstore. They brought the What If It’s Us authors to Manila and Cebu for signing events, and we’ve been given the chance to sit down and grab breakfast with them, and MY FEELINGS?
Yeah, they’re EVERYWHERE. It’s a surprise to me that I’m able to write this roundup right now, but I obviously need to try and do it justice. So let’s get this started.

Arthur is only in New York for the summer, but if Broadway has taught him anything, it’s that the universe can deliver a showstopping romance when you least expect it.
Ben thinks the universe needs to mind its business. If the universe had his back, he wouldn’t be on his way to the post office carrying a box of his ex-boyfriend’s things.
But when Arthur and Ben meet-cute at the post office, what exactly does the universe have in store for them?
Maybe nothing. After all, they get separated.
Maybe everything. After all, they get reunited.
But what if they can’t quite nail a first date . . . or a second first date . . . or a third?
What if Arthur tries too hard to make it work . . . and Ben doesn’t try hard enough?
What if life really isn’t like a Broadway play?
But what if it is?

Can you guys actually believe that we only have 4 days left before the end of 2017? It’s as if it was just yesterday when I was drafting an entirely similar post dedicated to my most favorite reads of 2016, and now here I am, coming up with a new one that’s all about my favorite books of 2017. I can’t even begin to express just how relieved I am to finally be starting a new chapter of my life come 2018.
I’m excited for all the books that I’ll (for sure) be reading, for all the authors that I’ll be supporting, and for all the events that I’ll be going to. But before anticipating these, I want to take this chance to celebrate all the well-recommended titles that I came to read this year. Let’s get this post started!

Seventeen-year-old Molly Peskin-Suso knows all about unrequited love—she’s lived through it twenty-six times. She crushes hard and crushes often, but always in secret. Because no matter how many times her twin sister, Cassie, tells her to woman up, Molly can’t stomach the idea of rejection. So she’s careful. Fat girls always have to be careful.
Then a cute new girl enters Cassie’s orbit, and for the first time ever, Molly’s cynical twin is a lovesick mess. Meanwhile, Molly’s totally not dying of loneliness—except for the part where she is. Luckily, Cassie’s new girlfriend comes with a cute hipster-boy sidekick. Will is funny and flirtatious and just might be perfect crush material. Maybe more than crush material. And if Molly can win him over, she’ll get her first kiss and she’ll get her twin back.
There’s only one problem: Molly’s coworker Reid. He’s an awkward Tolkien superfan with a season pass to the Ren Faire, and there’s absolutely no way Molly could fall for him. Right?
