Can anyone honestly believe we’re actually down to the last day of the year? Because I can’t. I mean, 2016 has honestly given quite a few punches here and there, but I can’t blatantly say that it was horrible. I’ve achieved quite a few of my resolutions, met lots of wonderful people, worked with a few publishers, read some amazing and life-changing books… I think it’s unfair to say that I didn’t enjoy 2016.

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by the lovely bloggers behind The Broke and the Bookish. This week, we’re free to talk about anything under the sun since it’s freebie week. I chose to talk about ten books I own that I want to read as soon as I’m able. Oh, and for more information about Top Ten Tuesday, please check out The Broke and the Bookish blog – they are amazing.
Choosing this week’s topic (since it’s freebie week) was kinda hard for me. I had no inspiration to draft anything but wanted so badly to participate so I took this dilemma to Twitter. I hosted a poll, and two topics were tied, but I decided to go with this particular topic!

So, once again, last Sunday, March 13, 2016, I attended another book signing event. Hosted by the amazing National Book Store, this event was for the fans of the New York Times Bestselling Author of the Throne of Glass and A Court of Thorns and Roses series, Sarah J. Maas!

The amazing Trisha Ann of The Bookgasm Blog tagged me to do the Midyear Book Freak Out Tag! You should check out her entry here. September is a month of numerous book sales here in the Philippines. As some of you may know, the Manila International Book Fair, which was recently concluded last September 20, was a grand event tailored for bibliophiles nationwide. Local book stores such as Fully Booked and National Book Store were there to participate and sell books with discounts of up to 50% off to bookworms who were looking forward to stacking their shelves as well. Powerbooks, another local book store here in the PH, also had their “Power Sale” offering discounts of up to 50% off as well. Of course, I wasn’t going to let this month pass me by without even taking advantage of these sales, and so, I am posting my monthly book haul!
