Yes, I know 2016 is over. And it’s been 2 weeks since 2017 started, but believe me when I tell you that I won’t be moving on from these books anytime soon. Today, I’m more than elated to be sharing with everyone 10 of the best books I’ve read last year. If you’re a friend, you probably already know what tops this list, but I still need to dedicate an entire blog post about it. Okay?

It’s no doubt that my blogging experience won’t be as amazing without the people who I’ve met these past few years, and I can’t help but feel so good about having to draft and publish this thanksgiving blog post. In light of #TheThanksUGive, a week-long blog event hosted by Mish of Chasing Faerytales, and Hazel of Stay Bookish, of course, I NEED to publicly thank a few people who helped me and Book Freak Revelations be here today.

If there’s one bookish event that I would gladly make time for out of my intense schedule, that would be this year’s “Love-A-Thon”. Hosted by 4 lovely women, it aims to spread the love for books all over the world.

So, just this morning, I have officially enrolled myself for my last semester in college. What I’m about to face are Internship courses, mainly Hotel Internship, and In-house Internship. I don’t want to get in too much detail of that, but the point of this post is that I only have 4 more days of freedom, before the semester starts. Technically, my In-house internship started yesterday, but since my body refuses to identify that I’m already working towards that specific goal, I’ll let this be.
Now, the whole point of this is that I just wanted to tell everyone how delighted I am to have met more people, posted a few blog posts, did a few book tags, and had more people follow this blog in a span of a few weeks. Ever since my Christmas vacation began, I’m not gonna lie, my stats went up, more people discovered BFR, and I’ve met tons of new people via the interwebs. Good, and very hospitable people have shown much of their interest for my blog and it’s content, and I am more than grateful to have met such wonderful people.

A new year signifies the start of something new. It may sound cliche, but it is. It is the time when people take oaths to do better with the months to come. To be productive. To be bolder. Better. Well, I would personally want to announce to everyone that I want to be a better JM this 2016. I want to be a better blogger. A better student. A better son. Because what’s the point of a new year if we don’t intend on improving and developing ourselves, right?
