Last Sunday, September 16th, marked the last day of this year’s Manila International Book Fair, and I was lucky enough to drop by SMX, not just to haul books but also to speak in a panel about international publishing! I had the most amazing time catching up with my friends, and getting stressed about what books to buy from National Bookstore’s Book Binge Bazaar, and even though I came home with a headache, sore arms, numb legs, I wouldn’t trade this experience for anything. March is officially over and April is in full swing! I can’t believe we’re already a quarter of a way through with 2018. Last month, I was able to read a total of 7 amazing titles (you may check out the titles I read and loved over at Arctic Books for our March recap), and of course, other than reading through my endless TBR, I also acquired a sh*t ton of exciting new titles! October has officially come and gone and I’m starting November with lots of new books to read and an even longer TBR pile thanks National Bookstore and their annual Cut Price Sale! Don’t judge me, okay? In my defense, I did celebrate my 3rd blogging anniversary last October so I guess that’s enough reason to splurge? Also, during the last 2 weeks of the previous month, I gifted myself with a couple of titles for my birthday. Both occasions basically sum up this haul. Let’s get started!

I’m sorry, okay? I know, I haven’t posted my monthly hauls for 3 months already, but this is because for the past few months, I kinda failed at book photography and I just didn’t have the motivation. I know it’s getting old, but this is also because of the shift in Instagram’s algorithm. But enough about all the negativity! I’m here to (finally) share with you guys all the books I got for the month of July!
