Stacking The Shelves: December 2018

Let’s start 2019 off with something worth celebrating: BOOK MAIL! During the last weeks of November up until mid December, I’ve received so many books from publishers and personal bookish purchases and I didn’t talk about it at the time because 1) I was so busy with work especially with dual payroll and Christmas party preparations at the office just around the corner, and 2) because I intentionally reserved it for a stacking the shelves post. Now, let’s get this post started! I have quite a few books to share with y’all!

Now, for the thanks…

  • Thank you to my friends from HarperCollins International, Macmillan International, Fierce Reads, Wednesday Books, and Scholastic for spoiling me with so many review copies! I’m not sure if I’ll be able to get through all of them—I’m the worst mood reader there is—but I promise to help make buzz for all these books! Also, rest assured that I’ll be passing these on to #BookwormsUnitePH members, so the use of these will be maximized.
  • Thank you to my friend, Soleil, for letting me jump on board her Book Outlet orders. (Seriously! I don’t know why I can’t buy from that site by myself, so you’re of great help to me, Mommy Sol!)

  1. Amazing haul! Especially the HarperCollins, most titles are on my 2019 list! I am reading The Gilded Wolves now, it’s really good. I am amazed and my heart still flutters at the sight of Enrique. As for your question I hadn’t purchase a book lately, I am trying to focus this month on backreading-as much as I can. Anyway, good luck and happy new year!

  2. This is SUCH a fantastic haul, JM! I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on Opposite of Always, it is one of my most anticipated reads of 2019! I’m also excited about If You’re Out There, this book sounds SO intriguing, I’m so curious about it 🙂
    Happy reading! 🙂

  3. This is such an amazing haul 🙂

Scythe was one of my favourite books of 2018. It is really an amazing book, I hope you love it! I’ve started Thunderhead and it’s equally as good.

    Happy reading xx
