[Bookish Announcements #1] Christine Brae, Tarryn Fisher, and Colleen Hoover in The Philippines!

Poster - CTC

As some of you may already know, these lovely ladies will be visiting the Philippines, specifically Cebu and Manila, for a book signing event! They are Bestselling Romance and New Adult Authors whose works I have read before. These names are the ones who introduced me to the wonders of the New Adult genre.

Christine Brae is the author of The Light In The Wound, His Wounded Light, and Insipid. Among the 3, she’s the one who I know in quite a personal level. It is because of her books and my reaching out to her which now entitled me to be her friend. She’s a sweet woman and yes, she is a Filipina! Can you believe it?

Tarry Fisher is the author of The Opportunist, Dirty Red, Thief, Mud Vein, and Marrow. I haven’t read a single book by her but I am looking forward to do so since some of my friends recommended her to me in the past.

Lastly, Colleen Hoover is the New York Times Bestselling Author of Slammed, Maybe Someday, Confess, and Ugly Love, which has been optioned for film. Among the 3, she’s my most read author, although I haven’t read all her books. Confess, Slammed, and Maybe Someday are my favorites by her.

Their book signing event schedules are as follows:

  • September 12, 2015 at 2 p.m. in The Gallery, Ayala Center Cebu
  • September 13, 2015 at 2 p.m. in the Lower Ground Event Center, Mega A of SM Megamall
  • September 19, 2015 at 5 p.m. in the National Book Store booth at the Manila International Book Fair, SMX Convention Center (limited to 200 slots only).

I will be attending the SM Megamall event together with my friends! Shall I see you there? Also, what are your favorite books by these lovely authors? Tell me all about it in the comments down below! πŸ™‚

  1. I didn’t know Christine was a Filipino! Have fun at the signing, JM! I personally have never read any books by any of them, and I’m not interested to, so I’m okay with missing it. (But if it’s someone else that I love, I will cry).
